My name is Joey Noble, I live in Miami Florida and in June of 2013 I was involved in a serious car accident, while leaving my friends baby shower leaving me a C4 quadriplegic, paralyzed from the neck down. While struggling with depression and anxiety (panic disorder), someone in my support group, gave me a wake-up call. He said, "if you are ready to die, and give up, there are both legal and illegal ways to get it done, but if you are not ready to quit yet, wake your A** up , and do something". This was the spark for me to stop crying over all the things I lost, and what I cannot do, and focus on what I could still do, and what I could learn to do, and – – thenoblemanbrand.com – – was born. My goal is simple, to start on a new journey, creating something from nothing, finding a message from the mess.
I was an inpatient in the ICU/rehab center for 4 months, against all odds, and with strong apprehension from my doctors, instead of going to a nursing home, I came home and was on a breathing ventilator for 8 months. They told me I’ll never move, speak or breathe on my own again, but I love music, and this was a great motivation for my fighting to speak again which is why I started a music company – – modestislandmusic.com – –. Starting with a weak diaphragm, barely being able to hold a whisper, I fought, and continue to fight for every breath, and to make everyone count.
