The self-titled debut EP 'Mirandaclare' was independently released on 28/10/2020.
Across its six tracks, Mirandaclare showcases her versatility, distinctive production, and undeniable knack for songwriting.

The moody opening track 'Sooner' merges Alternative and Synth-pop with a danceable beat inspired by latin and dancehall music.

Track two chronicles the contradicting relief and regret of 'Giving Up', over an atmospheric, sometimes distorted soundscape, accented in parts with glitchy percussion.

Track three is an uptempo guitar-driven nod to eye-candy of yesteryear 'Gene Kelly', influenced by the sounds of New wave and Bo Diddley.

The pensive internal monologue 'Thought It Through' comes next, a piano ballad combining melodic influences from both pop and classical music.

Track five 'For You' serves as an interlude, but it packs a punch with its defiant lyrics and Alt-R&B style production.

The EP then closes with the assertive 'Woman in Black', an intense Electropop track which lyrically explores prejudice, gender roles, and subverting expectations.

Mirandaclare is a sound-obsessed singer-songwriter-producer hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Having quietly worked on her craft for some time, 2020 has seen her emerge with ambition and genre-bending prowess, with singles such as the metamorphic Synth-pop 'Third Party' and the quirky, ominous 'Pope Innocent VIII'.
